"Boo" Rag Wreath

I don't know about all of you, but I am totally getting in the mood for Halloween. I already have want to decorate my house! Now, I have loads and loads of decorations for Christmas but hardly any for fall! I know this is something that I must change. And so I have. BEHOLD... the Halloween rag wreath!

I got really excited about this project and didn't take any photos along the way, but I can give you the run down. To make this wreath you need: 1/4 yard each of any five fabrics of your choice, a wire frame floral wreath, wooden letters, spray paint, hot glue and ribbon.

Cut the fabric into strips about an inch wide and 6 inches long. You simply tie these is knots around the frame. I found it easiest to tie them on in a pattern so that the colors were evenly placed among the wreath. This took me a couple of hours to do, but luckily it doesn't require much concentration so I did that while watching Glee and the Big Bang Theory this week. (Have I mentioned how excited I am for the fall TV season?!)

Next spray paint your letters and let them dry. Move your fabric to make a empty spot on the frame and attach the letters to the frame of the wreath with hot glue. you may need to do a little fluffing after the letters are on the wreath. Tie a ribbon and hang up! I hope you enjoy this project as much as I did!
